We The Revolution has a unique graphic style and is set in the bloody, paranoid world of the French Revolution. It was often difficult to tell who your friends were and who you should be avoiding. You’ll have to navigate this world as a judge at the Revolutionary Tribunal. You will need to give judgements, engage in risky political maneuvers and do all you can not to be executed for being anti-revolutionary.
You will be placed in a complex ethical situation with no easy answers. The choices you make are always ambiguous. It is a huge responsibility to be able to control the lives and deaths of others. You can also influence the direction of the revolution. Every time you deliver a speech or delegate tasks to your agents, give a judgment in court, or engage in political intrigue behind the scenes, remember this.
The creators of the game warn that a large part of the gameplay involves solving moral and ethical dilemmas regarding human life. You can either hang and torture criminals, plan secret conspiracies or make public speeches about what’s going to happen to them. It is important to avoid the guillotine.
