Game Story

Daggerfall, located between High Rock and Hammerfell, is in Iliac Bay. The Emperor himself has requested that you be transported to this location.
First, the player has to release King Lysandus’ spirit from its earthly confinement. The player will also need to find out what happened to the letter that the Emperor sent to the former Daggerfall queen. The letter states that Nolvaga is Lysandus’s mother and knows the location of Mantilla, the key to resurrecting a strong bronze Golem, the first medium.

Endings for The Elder Scrolls II Daggerfall
Underking’s Ending: The player can rest in peace if he gives the Mantella over to the Underking. He will absorb its power. The Iliac Bay is then transformed into a magic-free area.
Gortworg’s Victory: When Gortworg gains control of Numidium, he will use it to defeat the Imperial forces and eliminate rival kings in the Iliac Bay. Gortworg establishes Orsinium despite the Underking’s arrival to destroy Numidium.
The Blades’ triumph: Should the Blades, loyal Agents of the Empire, succeed, they will reactivate Numidium and use its powers to defeat regional kings and Orcs. The Empire gains control of Tamriel with their victory.
A King’s Domination: When any ruler of Iliac Bay obtains Numidium, he uses it to eliminate his rivals and consolidate his rule. Before they can establish full control, however, the Underking steps in, destroying Numidium to ensure that no one ruler dominates the area.
Manimarco’s Ascension By giving the Mantella (the Mantella) to Mannimarco, the King of Worms, he can harness its power and transcend mortality to ascend to godhood. This will forever change the balance of power within Tamriel.
The lost ending: The strategy guide for The Daggerfall Chronicles states that there was a planned but unreachable end where the player would be able to activate the Mantella if they had the Totem (the artefact controlling Numidium) in their possession.
