Although I would have enjoyed a whole episode of the Battle of the Gods storyline, Kakarot’s narrative is rather well summarized. Whis confesses that DLC events don’t always go as planned, in a subtle gesture to fans. Hopefully, the makers have preserved a whole episode of the Battle of Gods plot for the Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Free Download sequel, called Dragon Ball Super. Although the downloadable material lacks high-quality cut sequences, the producers have included some stunning animation to match Goku and Vegeta’s Super Saiyan God transformations. This animation looked fantastic and was undoubtedly the highlight of the supplementary stuff.
