DMC is a hack-and-slash action-adventure video game. Capcom Ninja Theory developed and released the video game. The player controls Dante as he battles his enemies and navigates Limbo. Dante can perform combos with his twin pistols, Ebony and Ivory, or his sword, Rebellion.

Angel Mode and Devil Mode are new additions to the series. They are modifications to Dante’s moveset, which are activated when you press one of the triggers. In Angel Mode, Dante switches from his sword to a faster Osiris (a scythe-like weapon), while in Devil Mode, he uses an Arbiter, which is a slower but more deadly axe.

Game Story:

This Dante’s story in a modern setting, with its stylish action, fluid combat, and confident protagonist, is reminiscent of the classic series, but it has a harsher and more visceral tone. Dante is a young, rebellious man who doesn’t care about authority or society.

Dante knows that he’s not human but that he’s also not a demon, unlike the ones who have been haunting him all his life. He is alone because he’s trapped between two worlds. Dante learns about being the spawn of an angel and a demon from his twin brother Vergil. Vergil is the leader of “The Order,” a group that opposes the establishment.

The gameplay is greatly impacted by Dante’s ability, on-demand, to summon demon and angel abilities and instantly change the shape of his Rebellion Sword to modify both fighting and mobility.
