Sid Meier’s Civilization 4 Free download for PC, is a 4X Role-playing Strategy video game developed by Firaxis Games, published by 2K Games, and distributed by Take-Two Interactive—the latest entry in the Civilization series launched on Microsoft Windows and macOS in October 2016. As in previous editions, the player’s goal is to develop from an early settlement over thousands of years into a global power and achieve one of the many conditions for victory, such as military dominance and superior technological or cultural influence over other opponents who humans and computers control.

Players do this by exploring the world, founding new cities, building urban improvements, deploying military forces to attack and defend against others, researching new technology and cultural intelligence, and engaging in trade and negotiations with other world leaders.

The game included different civilizations that were not listed in previous incarnations of civilization, while many returning civilizations had new capitals or new leaders.
