Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition Download Pc is a fantasy role-playing video game developed by BioWare. The first Baldur’s Gate game takes place in Forgotten Realms – a high fantasy campaign world – and uses a modified version of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (2nd edition) rules. The Infinity Engine was used for the graphics for the first time. Interplay has also used the engine in other Forgotten Realms licensed games, such as the Icewind Dale Series, and other D&D campaign settings like Planescape: Torment.
Players control a character of their design who travels across the Sword Coast with a group of companions to solve the mystery of a sudden iron shortage in the area and to find the culprits. They also uncover dark secrets of their origins while dealing with assassination attempts.
You are forced to leave home in mysterious circumstances, and you’re drawn into a conflict that is bringing the Sword Coast to the brink. You soon discover that there are forces at play, much more sinister than anything you could have imagined. Baldur’s Gate, which was released in 1998, has been the benchmark for Dungeons and Dragons computer role-playing games. Create your hero and recruit brave allies to explore the Sword Coast on your quest for adventure, profit…and the truth. Baldur’s Gate is a version of the Infinity Engine that has been upgraded. It includes the original Baldur’s Gate, the Tales of the Sword Coast extension, and new content, including three party members.

- Customization of the PC is possible after its creation but with certain restrictions.
- Change the colors of each character’s primary and secondary colors.
- One might tell them to keep an eye out for traps, while another may say they should be on the lookout.
- A reputation system tracks the moral behavior of PCs and changes how they are perceived. This can be done by changing whether they solve a problem or commit a criminal offense in the eyes of witnesses.
- It is possible to track the time in the game by observing the lighting and activity. After a long day of in-game travel, characters become tired and need to rest. They can do this in an inn or by camping in the country/inside a dungeon.
- Characters are ambushed when they camp out or travel long distances to reach world map locations.
- You can choose to play in either single-player or multiplayer mode. This mode allows six players to collaborate online on their creations.
